Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best thing ever for stainless steel I have been using these hole saws for running conduit in stainless steel boxes for months now, and found is the only way to go. So much faster and easier than anything else.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst carbide I’ve ever used Went to the hardware store to get a carbide to cut some holes in stainless . Usually the store has ideal ones which work pretty well , but I’m ashamed to say they changed them for these . I was like “ okay I suppose I’ll give it a shot”. I drilled a pilot hole to help guide the hole saw where it needed to be and I kid you not , as soon as the pilot bit on the southwire one went it broke . Almost made me chuck my drill at the wall. I said okay well you can replace the pilot anyway , so with what little of a stub was left I used in a bigger hole I drilled out to make up for the crap bit it had . Well not even half way in a tooth comes loose and is falling out . I said “you’ve got to be kidding me” . Never again with southwire am I trusting these bits . I’ve used greenlee , klein, and ideal bits and they all worked 10x better than this one . I actually had to go to my coworker and ask to borrow his which ate through the stainless like a hot knife in butter . Wish I could get my money back I spent on this and get a better one .
